Speed Conversion
Over the years I have been giving tuition @ Boys' Town Singapore with my friends @ STEP Chapter: SG, I have been mainly tutoring Sec 4 NT Science one main topic that they are tested or require to know as part of their question is conversion between m/s to k/h vice versa.
My apporach in teaching them is the step by step conversion from either:
km/h -> m/h -> m/min -> m/s
or
m/s -> Km/s -> Km/min -> Km/h
I feel that breaking down into simple steps help them to understand the concept better, but a draw back is when we need to check their answers step by step so that's the reason why I wrote this simple app to help do the step by step conversion. This app will help calculate each step's answer and help the tutor/student check which step they have converted wrongly. I have left the answers in each step to round off at 8 decimal points tutors feel free to ask them to round of to the number of decimals you require.
As usual the codes are below feel free to see and use, do let me know if there are any bugs you have noticed.

KM/H to M/Skm/hFirst Convert into m/h by multiplying by 1000 _________ m/hThen Convert into m/minute by dividing by 60 _________ m/minuteThen finally Convert into m/s by dividing by 60 again _________ m/s |
M/S to KM/Hm/sFirst Convert into Km/s by dividing by 1000 _________ Km/sThen Convert into Km/minute by multiplying by 60 _________ Km/minuteThen finally Convert into Km/h by multiplying by 60 again _________ Km/h |
